About
What Click Decay is
Click Decay helps you read Google Search Console numbers without reading more into them than they show. TheCTR calculator works on numbers you type in and sends nothing anywhere. A comparison of two periods from a Search Console export is in development.
How the numbers are labelled
- Observed: taken directly from your numbers.
- Calculated: exact arithmetic on your numbers, such as splitting a click change into impressions and CTR.
- Modelled: an estimate that depends on a stated assumption, such as a target CTR.
- Not established: what totals cannot show, such as why clicks changed.
